
Group Support and Services
Most groups invest the lion-share of their time and effort into their projects, programs, and events. As such, groups, even those with established work and long histories, may still need assistance/agency for promoting their work, attracting new members, creating or enhancing their online presence, and maintaining interaction with members, donors, and friends. By providing some or all of the following services we will use the latest online technologies to assist groups in managing relationships with the goal of increasing membership, building their community outreach, creating a more frequent and consistent online presence, generating greater interest in their work, and as a result, attracting more funding and community engagement.
OBJECTIVES

To build an archive for chosen groups that preserves their work, and to establish a “site” (through TOTA Group pages) for the group to present their legacy of their work. To act as a promotional service, providing an online interactive presence that makes it easy for the group to stay in touch with their members and supporters, highlight new content, and keep people update on their events and major activities.

Develop over the next six months the capacity to offer fee-based professional services to manage an ongoing campaign and platform for three years that generates new memberships for the group, identify funding opportunities to support key programs, and provide a platform for online events, both serving as a primary platform for online events (gatherings, conferences, classes, etc.) and/or expanding the reach of live physical events.
TARGET GROUPS
At TOTA/LSP, we will identify groups who have produced a body of work over ten or more years. In Phase One of this project, we will focus on providing 1) Archival Services and 2) Group Marketing and Promotional Services. Phase One will select groups with a cultural or community focus with preference for diverse cultural representation. We will provide services for five groups in the first year, 15 additional groups in the second year, and 30 additional groups in the third year.
1. Dynamic Searchable Archival Services: We will choose groups who are committed to invest 4hrs/week for 3 to 6 months for collecting and sharing content to complete their site setup.
a. Digital Archive - Converting images, articles and recordings of the group’s work into a digital archive
b. Organizational History and Capacity Profile - Creating a chronicle of the group’s history, alumni, leadership, programs, and achievements
c. Interviews: Capture video, audio and written interviews with group members, leaders, supporters, volunteers, and funders
2. Group Marketing and Promotional Services - Goal is to work with groups to increase their income by 20% for the first year, 20% second year, and 20% third year
a. This is an additional service for groups, chosen by the TOTA/LSP team.
b. This service will require initial pursuit by the group and TOTA/LSP team to identify and sign up sponsors (including the group itself) that will provide $6,000 a year for three years.
c. This is only for groups who are committed to finding sponsors and who will commit 8 hrs/week to building their marketing campaign.
d. We will reserve the right to cancel the campaign if the group does not execute on next actions agreed upon each month.

Fans and Sponsors Mailing List - Build and maintain a mailing list
LSP Monthly Group Newsletter Campaign - Publish an article or event announcement once a month in our email newsletter
Sponsorship Reporting - Quarterly Reports to sponsors on services rendered and opportunities gained from marketing effort
Online Annual Event – Support one annual event for the group per year, including planning, marketing, and online platform
